Going backwards to go forwards! The car is taken apart again to stain and coat it, and to make any final adjustments. This will be my final update until after the show on the 24th. I will be extremely busy up until then getting everything finished since I have other projects in the show as well.
This is the wench I am using to pull the cart onto the tracks. I can then take off the rear tires and slide the wood out from underneath. It was great to hear it rolling down the track as I put it on for the first time!
The seats are being transformed...
Did someone skin a tiger in my garage???
Of course not!!! No tigers were harmed in the making of my project! After these are all stained I need to put the polyurethane on them to protect them from the weather. Upholstering will be the last step before re-assembly.
