What is the Pouncing Tiger project?
It's a wooden roller coaster car I am making for my senior project in college. It features a large copper tiger face on the front and other precious metalwork on both the interior and exterior surfaces.
How big is this?
About 6' x 4' x 4' This is big enough for four people to sit in at once! It sits on an 8' section of track and weighs around 1200 lbs.
How far along is the Pouncing Tiger right now?
The whole car is complete! If you want your picture taken in it send me an email to set up a time.
What are you going to do with this?
I want to have a fundraiser for charity by taking pictures in it at some point in time. Other places it may be seen are in parades and local galleries.
I am going to build the rest of the track, theme the ride, and do something special with it. Stick around, it's going to be FUN!
Current Progress : The car is done for the show but there are more surprises coming with this project soon!
